After yesterday’s trip out east, today, we went up to Fools Day Peak in Salmon La Sac for sunshine.
We found solitude and distanced ourselves on Rattlesnake Dance Ridge and Manastash Ridge West Summit.
The short climb on Maynard Peak offered spectacular views to the northern-central Olympic Mountains.
The recruit made his snow scramble debut on Humerus Hill and Jolly Mountain after three months.
