Second trip up the mountain, and this time we approached via the west ridge by scrambling up west slopes.
Salmon La Sac Road was clear up to the turnaround outside of Cayuse Campground.
Hard to believe six years had already passed since our first visit on this mountain.
As I approached the Bean Creek Trail junction I could hear the raging water from the creek.
Finally we were able to bag a peak somewhere in the Cascades with the weekend’s decent weather.
First time black pup and I climbed Earl Peak by mistake, and instead I thought we had summited Navaho Peak.
Koppen Mountain marked our last of the Mountaineers Teanaway Twenty Peaks list pursuit.
A double-summit peakbagging day.

Zero views on top made for a good conditioner nonetheless.
