Koppen Mountain marked our last of the Mountaineers Teanaway Twenty Peaks list pursuit. We started from the Boulder DeRoux trailhead and crossed the bridge. At the first trail junction we got on the Middle Fork Teanaway Trail and followed it up to the pass. We made a left on the pass and traversed southeastward on the northwest ridge, following a hikers trail all the way to the top. The path became more defined with the elevation gain. Great views on the summit as on any other Teanaway high points.
