Our second trip to this lake, and we camped on the far east end of the lake just outside the state park boundary. After getting to last year’s camp spot, unloaded everything and started hiking eastward along the rim. We went farther than the time before just short of the west end where state park visitors hung out.
Got back to camp at sunset time, set up camp and turned in early. Next morning we got up before sunrise and started hiking back to the car before it got too hot.
