Bearscout Peak by Scout Patrol Peak / 靠童軍小隊峯的熊童軍峯

Bearscout Peak sat in the southern end of Scout Creek Basin. It was just barely visible from Interstate 90. But I was able to see the peak in its entirety from Scout Patrol Peak two weeks ago.

In Summary

At first, the peak looked intimidating from the west. But I did some research before the trip. Then it turned less technical than I had thought. We first waited on top for a while for the clouds to dissipate. Then we were able to enjoy the panoramic views.

I checked out the ridgeline to the east. And it looked feasible to traverse the ridge over to Abiel. Since I hadn’t done Abiel Peak, it would have been great to go over there. But there was always another time!
