Two French ladies I met at the parking lot were looking to snowshoe somewhere, so I took them on this easy scramble. The trail from the Snow Lake Trail junction was deeply covered in snow, so we started scrambling down to the lake from there.
Hard to tell how big the lake was since visibility was poor and the lake was largely covered in snow. While taking photos by the lake we saw people on the other side of the basin. So on the way back we made a counterclockwise loop to the other side then snowshoed down to the parking lot.
