Another difficult hike with steady elevation gain. We scrambled through alpine meadows and scraggly tree stands in the last mile. Wind gusts began from the Nelson Ridge junction and continued to the summit. The panoramic view, including the nearby Bismarck Peak, from atop the summit was spectacular and extremely rewarding!
