I parked at the end of Road 5770-1 by a fire pit. First two miles of the hike was brushy but manageable. We followed the old road bed/trail to 800′ below the summit on the north side, then scrambled across two small talus fields to the top.
The 360-degree view was only obstructed by a handful of trees, not bad at all!
