After parking the vehicle, pups and I started walking north on Slack Canyon Road for a while and it was rather uneventful. A couple of miles later, we crossed Douglas Creek to the west side, climbed to top of canyon, and then traversed southerly to southern edge. Just before the fenced off private property there’s a good spot to get a good view into expansive Moses Coulee.
A relatively short visit as we arrived late. After getting a few photos of coulee we scrambled back down to the parking area.
