Of all three trips we’ve done so far, this was by far the hottest. While it’s raining in the Cascades, it’s hotter than Hades this side of the mountains.
We followed the same route as two previous times to arrive at Gracie Point. No tree coverage on top so I created some shade with emergency bivy to get the pups out of the heat. Windy day but it didn’t help us cool down one bit.
