We decided to pay a visit to an old friend on the last day of the year. The dogs and I saw just one hiker on the way in as he was coming out to his car with his cute little dog.
The place was just how I remembered it except this time with virtually no snow on the ground. There was one tiny batch by the trailhead in a shaded area. My favorite part about this hike is the sight of Roza Dam, where Yakima River beautifully winds in and out of the Canyon.
It was a great way to spent the last year of the year, alone, with the dogs.
