2013/5/31 – Monte Cristo Ghost Town / 基督山鬼鎮

Monte Cristo Ghost Town entrance

Down tree at the South Fork Sauk River crossing wa still there, with the help of a hand line to cross over. But do so at your own risk!

Patches of snow in the first mile after the washed out bridge, watch out for thinning snow layer so you don’t posthole too much or too hard.

The town was nice and quite, although a little eerie. I hope it stays preserved for a long time.
