Goat Mountain in Salmon La Sac has been on the back burner for many years.
Second trip up the mountain, and this time we approached via the west ridge by scrambling up west slopes.

Alas, climbing season finally came to an end after four months of excellent weather
Salmon La Sac Road was clear up to the turnaround outside of Cayuse Campground.
Salmon La Sac Road was still under a sheet of ice from Roslyn to the pullout before the bridge/NF-46.
Three months shy of seven years since our initial visit (minus the yellow lab) back in 2009.

I had hoped to go up Mount Kent but changed my mind after realizing getting good views at the top wouldn’t have been possibility.
I wanted to climb The Louvre today, but road walk beyond gated Road 4315 looked unappealing.
Most of the approach was on trails, followed by a little over 1,000' of rock and scree scramble to the top.
