one hike a week circa 2010
Pup and I were supposed to climb the mountain same weekend we climbed the Napeequa peaks.
Pup and I hiked the Buck Creek Trail four years ago on the way to climbing Buck Mountain.
Pup and I arrived at the Phelps Creek Trailhead late Friday to a lot full of trucks now that the hunting season had begun.
A redo for the black lab and me since our first attempt five and a half years ago.
This season I had been blessed with great weather, optimal physical conditions, and new climbing partners.
One of the most gorgeous mountains we’ve climbed this year.
Knowing this would’ve been a long day, I car camped by the trailhead the night before to get an early start.
Dumbell Slam = Dumbell Mountain + Greenwood Mountain
Just when I thought Cascade mountains couldn’t get any bigger, I was greeted with jaw-dropping views after arriving in Leroy Creek Basin.
