Sourdough Gap by Chinook Peak overlooks Sheep Lake near Chinook Pass. The famous Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) goes over the pass through to Panhandle Gap. Then it makes its way into Bullion Basin by Crystal Mountain Ski Resort.

Summary
I used the trip to check out crevasses on Little Tahoma the day before the trip. The pups and I met a few hikers along the way, but no signs yet of the PCT thru-hikers. Most people stopped at the pass while we scrambled up Point 6708 for more views.
Clouds rolled through the area when we reached the high point. But the sky cleared up the rest of the afternoon sky so I could check out Fryingpan Glacier. On the way back, we stopped by Sheep Lake for more photos.
