Kodak moment on Freedom Peak

Photos from this trip can be found here.

Weather forecast was dire everywhere in the Cascades, but Teanaway had a better chance of less to no precipitation.

Gate closed at Stafford Creek, but not a problem since the trailhead was just on the other side of the gate. But getting pups over the gate was a little tricky.

Scramble started at about a mile in, with an easy-to-follow ridge line. Lots of loose rocks, some talus in higher elevations. We traversed around the outcrops instead of climbing over them to avoid having to down climb on the other side.

Windy summit, with clouds to the north obscuring almost the entire Stuart Range. Only visible Enchantments peaks in the range were Little Annapurna and McClellan Peak.
