Continuing our exploration of the lesser known peak along the I-90 corridor. Up until this point, all peaks including Mount Ken had been scrambles, so no problem for the dogs. They’re just harder to get to because they sit farther away from the highway.
Mount Kent did not disappoint as far as views went. The south view of McClellan Butte was a lot less intimidating. Getting into the upper basin was not as bad as I had thought. Although traversing under Duke and Duchess of Kent was a bit nerve-racking because of the possible rockfall. Should have brought my helmet!
