Heather Lake would be our last midweek hike for a while. I will return to the corporate world tomorrow, hooray!
Trail was free of snow until just before the lake. We ran into four parties on the way in and there was no one at the lake when we arrived. As per usual, it got windy just as we got there, but it wasn’t unbearably cold. At one point, the sky showed some blue and it looked as though it was going to clear up, but it was just a tease. It started to drizzle just as I was setting up the camera for our Kodak moment.
Beautiful lake, a short and relaxing hike.
