2009/4/19 – Mount Teneriffe / 坦納利弗山

We could have hiked Mount Si on this day. Although the large number of cars parked in the Mount Si parking lot quickly drove me away to seek out another hike. Then it dawned on me that a coworker had mentioned Mount Teneriffe. Being that it’s right next door and there was only one car parked in the lot, I decided to give it a shot. At this point I was still not geared up for winter. Needless to say, we didn’t get very far with the amount of snow on the ground. Did I really think I could summit Teneriffe with bare hands and no gear? We postholed for a good two miles or so before deciding to turn around.
