Bearscout Peak by Scout Patrol Peak / 靠童軍小隊峯的熊童軍峯

Bearscout Peak sat in the southern end of Scout Creek Basin. So it’s barely visible from Interstate 90. But I was able to see the peak in its entirety two weeks ago.

In Summary

The peak looked intimidating from the west. But I did some research before the trip. Then it turned out less technical than I had thought. We waited a while on top for the clouds to move. Afterward, we enjoyed the views of the nearby peaks.

I checked out the terrain to the east. And it looked feasible to traverse the ridge over to Abiel Peak. So it would have been great to include it if we had had enough time. But that’s a trip for some other time!
